What the Farmers Market / Player Shop is

The Farmers Market is a separate trading hub you enter through a portal in the main world, loading you into a dedicated server full of player‑owned shops (booths) rather than normal gardens. Each booth functions as a player shop: you claim a stall, list plants, pets, seeds, and other items at your chosen price in Trade Tokens, and other players can buy them directly without manual trading or global chat begging—even while you’re offline.

This system is meant to formalize trading, reduce scammy DMs, and make it possible for free‑to‑play players to convert rare drops into a currency that can later be spent like Robux on premium seeds, battle passes, and more.​​

Trade Tokens: the new trading currency

Trade Tokens (called trading coins or RAP tokens in some early tests) are a secondary currency used only in the Farmers Market and some new merchants; they do not replace shekels and cannot be used directly in the main shop. You earn them primarily by selling items from your booth—when someone buys your plant or pet, the set token price is added to your balance—and you can also purchase them for Robux in fixed bundles (50–25,000 tokens).

In the dev build showcased, tokens are treated as 1:1 value with Robux prices for premium seeds and passes: if a seed normally costs 100 Robux in the Seed Shop, it can also be bought for 100 Trade Tokens instead, effectively letting traders use rare pets to “pay” for Robux‑style content without spending cash.​​

Burden Bill NPC, reverse rewards, and new pets

A new NPC, Burden Bill, appears in the overworld once you reach about streak 15 with the Trader, and he offers a separate turn‑in system for rare and mutated fruits. When you meet his streak requirement, you can submit specific rare/mutated plants to receive Reverse rewards—these can include Gem Chests, new pets like Messenger Pigeon and Camel, and other high‑value items tied to upcoming Saturday content.

Reverse rewards act as another funnel into the trading economy: rare pets with Nightmare mutations or high RAP plants can be fed to Burden Bill to generate items that are then extremely desirable in the Farmers Market, where collectors pay large amounts of Trade Tokens for them.​​

How booths, inventory browsing, and the RAP Index work

Inside the Farmers Market, you can open a trading menu showing current players, trade history, and settings, plus a detailed view of any player’s inventory with an option to send them offers or add them as friends for private trade deals. Claiming a booth lets you hit Create Listing, pick items from your inventory (plants, pets, booth skins), and set a token price; anyone who interacts with your stall can buy instantly at that fixed price, so no haggling is needed.

To avoid underpricing or scams, there’s an Index button at the top of the Farmers Market UI that shows recent RAP (Recent Average Price) for each plant, pet, and booth skin—essentially a live price chart you can check before listing or buying so you know whether a Zebra Zingly, Rainbow Hydra, or Armadillo pet is overpriced or a good deal.​​

Zero‑to‑hero prep: how to profit from the Player Shop update

To prepare, start stacking rare plants and pets with strong mutations, especially Nightmare and high‑RAP collectibles, since these will sell for the highest Trade Token prices once the Farmers Market goes live. When the update hits, prioritize unlocking Burden Bill by pushing Trader streaks so you can convert rare mutated fruits into Reverse rewards, then resell those chase pets and items for Trade Tokens in your booth.
